On September 27-28, 2018 a workshop on Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) was held at the Aarhus Center of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources of Ukraine.

On September 11-12, 2018, in Ivano-Frankivsk and on September 24-25, in the city of Dnipro, training seminars "Approbation of the method of hydromorphological monitoring of surface water massifs of the river" category took place.
On September 11-12, 2018, the seminar "Assessment of the status of conservation of fauna and flora and types of natural habitats in accordance with the Convention on the Conservation of Wildlife and Natural Habitats in Europe" was held at the premises of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine.
With the support of the EU APENA project, July 7, 2018, an international seminar "New Approaches to Conservation of Flora and Fauna and Types of Natural Residences Important to Europe in the Polissya Region" was held on the territory of the Drevlyansky Nature Reserve in Zhytomyr Region.
On 30th of June 2018 with the support of EU funded project APENA, Danube Day was conducted in Zakarpattya Oblast (Tisza sub-basin). It was 12th anniversary of this great environmental public awareness event, using 14 countries of the Danube river basin.
On June 14-15, 2018, a workshop on the implementation of the EU Water Framework and Flood Directives was held in Poltava.

In Lviv, two training seminars were conducted - on EIA (29.05-30.05) and SEA (31.05-01.06) for the western regions of Ukraine. Seminars were held within the framework of the Pilot Project.
On June 5-7, 2018, the NNP "Meotida" hosted a seminar "Implementation of the requirements of EU Directives in the field of nature conservation".
